Company Remembers 9/11 Events Five Years Later September 11, 2006 On Monday night the Avondale Fire Company dressed in class A attend the 9/11 remembrance at the Avon Grove High School. The event was planned and carried out by Avondale Presbyterian Church’s Ray Mute. There were Prayers and videos as well as a flag that flew on that day over the trade center. Also in attendance was Representative Art Hershey. After wards there were pictures taken and thoughts exchanged. We Will Never Forget!!!! Units- Engine 23-1, 23-2, and Squad
