On Tuesday 02/12/08, Avondale Fire Company was alerted for an MVA
at Newark Rd south of Airport Way. Ambulance 23-1 was the first to
arrive on scene and notified that they had one vehicle up an embankment
with an occupant still inside. The ambulance crew advised that the
car was extremely unstable and balancing on the left side tires. Engine

the unsteady car. Crews utilized high lift jacks to steady the car
and gain access to the driver door. The driver was then able to slide
out of the car to safety.
