By: Firefighter John Morris IV

On Tuesday April 1, 2008 at 2122 hours Station 23 was alerted for an auto accident with unknown injuries on Church Road.  Assistant 23 arrived on scene and stated that he had one vehicle off the road with one to be checked by EMS.  He alerted Engine 23-1 to respond at a reduced rate.  The engine crew arrived and checked the vehicle for hazards.  The engine crew then attempted to move an extremely large boulder that was displaced by the accident.  The boulder was lying in the driveway of our own Chief Engineer Rich Testa. Moments later the engine crew was released by Assistant 23.
