Truck Into a House

On Tuesday July 22, 2008 Avondale Fire Company and Medic 94 were alerted at approximately 1700 hours for an auto accident reporting two box trucks into a house. Chief 23 (Swift) responded with in minutes. When the chief arrived on scene he stated that he had a box truck into the garage. All occupants were out of the residence and the involved truck. Deputy 23 (Cole Jr.), and Lt. 23A (Dijoseph) arrived on scene shortly after and accessed a craw space over the garage from the second floor to check the structural damage of the dwelling. Engine 23-1 arrived and its crew helped check for further damage. Engine 23-2's crews arrived and stood by for further orders. There were no injuries at the scene, Chief 23 recalled the ALS Units. Shortly thereafter, the scene was turned over to NGPD and Belfor Restoration.
