Entrapment on Pemberton Road

On August 22, 2008 at 2320 hours the Avondale Fire Company, along with Medic 94 was dispatched for an auto accident with entrapment on Pemberton Road. Engine 23-1 responded shortly after dispatch along with Chief 23. Upon their arrival Ambulance 23-2 was on scene and advised there was a person still confined in the vehicle. The ambulance crew used a halligan bar to “pop” the door.  Engine 23-1 arrived on scene and helped the ambulance with packaging the patient, and sweeping the road. Fire Police stayed on scene until the tow truck arrived.  All units cleared at 2355 hours.
