Assist 22 With a Dwelling

On Thursday at 0556 hours Station 23 was alerted to assist 22 with a dwelling on 270 North Guernsey Road. Chief 22 (Simpson) was first on scene and reported smoke showing and requested the working fire dispatch. Engine 23-2 responded at 0559 hours with a crew of 5 under the command of Lieutenant Carroll with Tanker 23 pulling out directly behind the engine. Engine 22 was the first piece of apparatus on scene and made a great knock on the fire. 23 crews assisted with lighting and light overhaul. 23 units were released at 0621 hours.
