Afternoon Car Fire Date: May 31, 2008 On May 31, 2008 the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to a car fire across from A&A Auto Tags in Avondale, Borough. Chief 23 arrived on scene and stated that the fire had been knocked down by an extinguisher. Engine 23-2 arrived on scene and crews pulled a booster line to wet down hot spots. Avondale Units returned to the firehouse soon after. Units: Engine 23-2, Amb 23-2, Tanker 23, Chief 23, Traffic 23
