Busy Week For Tanker 23.

March 30th, 2008
By: Firefighter John Morris IV.

On Friday March 21st, Tanker 23 was alerted to assist Cecil County, MD on a building fire. The tanker was dispatched as part of the Tanker Task Force which was alerted due to the lack of hydrants around the building. Chief 23 along with Captain 23 made the response. They shuttled 5 loads of water to the scene of the fire.

On Sunday March 30th, tones dropped in the 23 house for another tanker assist. Once again Tanker 23 was requested as part of the Tanker Task Force. Water was needed for a junkyard fire in Oxford's first due. The tanker crew hauled multiple loads of water to the scene of the fire.
