Company Has Entire Inventory of Hose Tested

On Friday Fire One a special company that tests fire hose arrived at Station 23 to test the companies entire inventory of hose which totals approximately 10,000 feet. Each piece of apparatus was stripped of all it's hose where it was then hooked to a portable pump. The hose was put under high pressure and monitored for leaks. The hose was also inspected during this time. All the passing hose was stamped and repacked onto the apparatus and the hose that failed was placed out of service.
