Christina Pierce Tie the Knot

On Saturday July 19th Avondale Fire Companies Chief Hosemen Richard "Ricky" Franks Jr. and Asst. Secretary Christina "Chrissy" Pierce tied the knot at the Waterfall in Claymont, DE. After almost a year of planning and organizing everything fell into place with friends and family gathering for the firefighter wedding. With the vows coming to a close and the walk back down the aisle Engineer McIntosh (stationed inside Engine 23-2) wound up the sirens and pulled on the air horns announcing a new beginning and carrying on the firefighter wedding tradition. After the wedding ceremony everyone mustered into the reception room and danced the night away! The officers and members of the Avondale Fire Company would like to congratulate Ricky and Chrissy and wish them the best of luck with all their further endeavors.
