Family & Friends Day at Fire Training Center

.....The Avondale Fire Company is proud to currently have three probationary members enrolled in Chester Counties Fire Training Academy. At the conclusion of the academy firefighters Max "Bubbles" Raubfogle, Rogielio "Rocky" Herrera and John Ferraro will be Nationally Certified "Firefighter 1" Firefighters. They will also come out of the academy with Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operations along with Basic First Aid and CPR.

..... On Sunday Chief Swift along with Firefighter Morris IV and Mascot Swift traveled to the Academy for Family & Friends Day. Visitors were allowed to walk around the training center and watch as the cadets went over hoseline advancement, ventilation, fire behavior and wild land firefighting. The Officers and Members of the Avondale Fire Company would like to wish firefighters Raubfogle, Herrera, and Ferraro the best of luck in completing the academy.
