LDH Hose Testing for Engine 23-2

On April 2nd 2008 the Avondale Fire Company’s weekly training night we laid 1200 feet of 5 inch LDH hose. This was done for pressure and leak testing.  While we had the hose laid out we demonstrated a new blitz fire nozzle, and at the end of the demo the nozzle was placed in to service on Engine 23-2.

Jim Decker Jr. was excused from the training early due to his wife, Pam Decker, going in to labor with their new baby girl. CONGRATS TO THE DECKERS!
