Company Tours Lowes

On Wednesday January 2, 2008 members from the Avondale Fire Company traveled to the new Lowe’s® Home Improvement Warehouse located in Avondale’s first due. The members were touring the new building and obtaining important information that could be utilized in case of an emergency. Members were shown all the electrical rooms and learned the locations of the emergency shut offs. Members were also shown the locations where fire hoses could be hooked up inside the building. Everyone was allowed to walk through the Lowes and a representative was on hand to answer all questions. Special thanks to the employees for answering all questions.
