Date: October 26, 2009 At 3:22 p.m. Station 23 was alerted for an auto accident on Route 41 at the Avondale exit ramp of the Route 1 Bypass. Less than a minute after the original dispatch, Station 23 was re-alerted for an auto accident reported serious adding Medic 94 and Station 22 (West Grove) for a rescue truck. After a short time later, units arrived on scene to find a dump truck and a small sedan that had collided, then slid off of the roadway. EMT’s provided patient care and packaging for transport while the crews from Squad 23 and Engine 23-3 secured the vehicles.
