Roll-over on Newark Road

On September 11th, 2009 at 2010 hours the Avondale Fire Company and Ambulance 23-1 were alerted for an auto accident on Newark road between Line road and Church road. Moments after dispatch Assistant 23 (Decker), Ambulance 23-1, Engine 23-3, Squad 23 were enroute. When Assistant 23 arrived on scene he reported one vehicle on its side on the embankment, with all occupants out of the vehicle. When Engine 23-3 arrived on scene their orders were to block traffic coming from the Line road side of Newark road and send the man power to the scene. When Squad 23 arrived their orders were to block traffic on the Church road side of Newark road until Fire Police arrived on scene. Ambulance 23-1 was brought into the scene and received a patient sign-off. All units cleared the scene at 2022 hours.
