Open House 2009

On Sunday October 4, 2009 the Avondale Fire Company hosted its annual open house to kick off fire prevention week. The open house included a rollover simulator from the Pennsylvania State Police, a smoke trailer from the Kennett Fire Company, an incident command trailer from Chester County, a medical helicopter from SkyFlight Care, food served by Servepro of Avondale, two vehicle extrication demos as well as numerous fire trucks from surrounding companies. The Avondale Fire Company wishes to thank all participating departments and people from the community that helped make today very successful! Thank you to Five Points Fire Company for the stand by!
