Engine Travels to Kennett Middle School for Career Day

Date: January 30, 2009
By: Firefighter John Morris IV

On Friday, January 30, Firefighters Nowland and Morris IV along with Lieutenant 23 (Decker Jr.) traveled to the Kennett Middle School for their annual Career Day. The crew set up a table amongst artists, carpenters, florists, members of the military, dancers, dentists, and many others. After talking to students inside they were taken outside for a tour of the engine. Crews explained all about being a volunteer firefighter and enjoyed the many questions and comments that came from the students. If you are interested in joining our team we are ALWAYS looking for volunteers. Please check out our "How to Join" section on the left side menu.
