Fatal Accident State Road

At 22:31 hours, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched to State Rd. and Meadow Woods Lane to assist West Grove Fire Company with an auto accident. Chief 22 arrived on scene with a head on collision and multiple persons trapped. Chief 22 also added 3 helicopters to the scene. Chief 23 arrived and took command of operations. Once Rescue 23 arrived on scene they helped with packing of patients, checking for hazards, and vehicle extraction. Rescue 23 stayed on scene until 00:05 hours.
