Date: September 13, 2010 On September 13, 2010 at 06:35 hours, The Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for an auto accident on Broad Run Road in New Garden Township. Deputy 23 (Cole) and Lieutenant 23-A (DiJoseph) arrived on scene with one vehicle over the embankment. Lieutenant 23-A ordered Rescue 23 (Reed) to utilize the winch connecting the front of the vehicle to the front of the Rescue due to the location and position of the involved vehicle. The come-a-long was utilized and connected from the front of a loader that had blocked the roadway to the rear of the vehicle. The vehicle was removed and the patient was checked by the crew from Ambulance 23-1. All units were available at 08:10 Hours.
