Date February 27, 2010 On February 27th, 2010 at 1659 hours, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for a car fire at the intersection of Newark Road and Bucktoe Road. Moments later Captain 23(Carroll) was on scene and advised there was a 2 vehicle accident with both cars vs. a pole, but no fire. Ambulance 23-2 was on the scene moments later and received sign off’s. Rescue 23 was en-route at 1702 hours with a crew of 6. When the rescue arrived on scene at 1708 hours crews checked the vehicles for hazards and waited for the towing company to arrive. All units were cleared at 1729 hours.
