Motorcycle Accident on Bypass

On the evening of Sunday April 11, 2010, Station 23 and Medic 94 were dispatched at 1823 Hours for a motorcycle accident on the Route 1 bypass. Moments later Ambulance 23-1 and Medic 94-2 went enroute and arrived with two individuals involved. Chief 23 responded to the incident confirming that it was on the northbound side just north of Route 41 as Deputy 23 arrived on scene establishing CP. Additional medical units were requested bringing in Ambulance 22-1, MICU 25-3, and SkyCare1. Rescue 23 arrived on scene to assist with patient care and landing of SkyCare. After the transport of the patients involved, the Pennsylvania State Police conducted their investigation with the lighting assistance from Rescue 23. All crews were available at 2032 hours.
