Date: October 4, 2010 On September 24, 2010 at 04:33 hours, Station 23 and New Castle County Station 19 were dispatched to the 100 block of Crescent Road for a dwelling. Chief 23 went onscene and reported a working basement fire while Engine 23-2 was enroute with a full crew along with NCC Tanker 19. Engine 23-2 arrived on scene and stretched an 1 3/4" attack line to the front door. Crews from NCC Tanker 19 arrived soon after and helped with hoseline advancement into the basement. An engine from Station 24 (Kennett) was alerted to the scene for RIT.The fire was knocked down at 04:57 hours with overhaul and ventilation going into effect. Crews were available at 06:28 hours.
