Date: May 31, 2010 On May 31, 2010 at 2234 Hours, the Avondale Fire Company was dispatched for an auto accident involving fire. Soon after dispatch, Ambulance 23-1, Medic 94 and Chief 23 went en-route with multiple reports coming in that the engine compartment is fully involved. Rescue 23 went enroute with a crew of six and arrived on scene with one vehicle into a small cement barrier well off. Firefighter McDonnell and Firefighter Franks pulled an 1.75" handline utilizing foam for suppression. All units were available at 2337 Hours.
