Congratulations!!

The officers and members of the Avondale Fire Company would like to congratulate C. Watterson on becoming Firefighter 1 certified. The Firefighter 1 class is the essential course that teaches new firefighters the basics of fire behavior, building construction, Hazardous Materials, First Aid and CPR, and much more. Firefighter 1 is an extensive class of over 2 1/2 months of training. The ceremony was held at the Wagontown Fire Company along with other members from various fire companies that completed training from Firefighter II to Instructor I.
