Avondale Participates in Task Force

Tanker 23 with a crew of two traveled up to West Chester for a task force drill. The drill was made up of crews from Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia Counties. The drill consisted of many different scenarios like Water Supply, Building Fire, Accident with Entrapment, and a Hot Air Balloon Accident. Crews spent most of the day on Matlack St. for water supply and had the other companies draft out of one of the two Port-a-Tanks. The Avondale Fire Company would like to thank the County of Chester for including us in the drill.
