Auto Accident With Rollover on Clay Creek Road

On Wednesday, July 2nd at 12:50 hours Avondale Fire Company was alerted for an auto accident on Clay Creek Road in London Grove Township. The caller reported one vehicle on its side blocking the road with everyone out of the vehicle. Full Story & Pics
The Curves on Newark Road Strike Once Again

On Monday June 30th at 17:44 hours Station 23 was dispatched to the infamous curves on Newark Road for an auto accident with entrapment. The caller reported a person entrapped in his vehicle which had struck a tree. Lieutenant 23 (Carroll) arrived on scene and reported no entrapment but one patient with injuries. Full Story & Pics
Building Fire at Chatham Acres

At approximately 2000 hours the company was dispatched for the automatic fire alarm at Chatham Acres Nursing Home. Engine 23-3 and Engine 23-2 made the initial response. Both engines staged at the front of the building with the crew from 23-3 investigating along with the staff to determine the source and location of the alarm. Full Story & Pics
Auto Accident on the Bypass

At 12:57 hours the West Grove Fire Company along with Ambulance 23-2 were dispatched to Southbound Route 1 in the area of the 841 overpass for an auto accident. Ambulance 23-2 arrived on scene advising the fire board that the call was in Avondale's local. At 13:04 hours Station 23 was dispatched for the engine. Full Story & Pics
